nachogrande Posted January 21, 2013 Posted January 21, 2013 Hello brethren. I've been modifying my H-10 Goldtop for a while, and this is the result. Changed parts: Schaller Les Paul Tremolo: Amazing stability and versatility. You don't have to drill any holes on to the body. Works very smooth. Schaller M6 Locking Tuning Keys: It helps to stay in tune and you know, great for an easy string installation. GraphTech Black Tusq XL nut: I will put these nuts to every guitar I have. Enhanced and longer sustain. It also helps to stay in tune. Top Hat knobs: My personal choice. Nothing more than a cosmetic touch.
H Posted January 21, 2013 Posted January 21, 2013 Great mods, although you're wrong about the top hats; they increase sustain MASSIVELY! Interesting trem system - does it hold tune well? Do the tailpiece covers come with the kit?
nachogrande Posted January 21, 2013 Author Posted January 21, 2013 Hail to the top hats Yes, it holds tune well and blind screws some with the package. You can find every detail about the trem here: http://guitar-tremolo.com/hp135042/Tremolo-Les-Paul.htm
mark555 Posted January 21, 2013 Posted January 21, 2013 Well done with keeping those mods very tasteful, the guitar looks great.
