Well you guys know that I love my H150 as I've posted a few of my songs that I've used it on, but recently I was looking at Wolfe Guitar's inventory and came upon this one...

Super sweet! Not only is it gorgeous, but I LOVE Pearly Gates pups too. That's one awesome fiddle you picked up there.

Congratulations.I made enquiries about this one but couldnt make the sums work with the taxation into

the U.K.(hence the S/H Ultra which I recently ordered and am still awaiting delivery, see my recent post).

Your guitar looks brilliant and I'm very jealous!!!

Thank you guys, and H if this guitar sounds better than my other H150, yes, I will play it at my gigs, it always comes down to that with me. I know by the demo that this new guitar sounds great, but I use different gear than the guy in the demo so I hope I can get my tone out of it. I also don't like tonepros hardware so if it needs work that's where I will start. But, I'm really hoping it just works out of the gate! I played my other h150 with my band at a Sundance Film Fest party and it sounded GREAT!

Houndhome I just checked out your Ultra and that is one sweet axe with a killer top, I love the carve on that one. How do you like the HRW's?

Posted

Hi Rockabilly, dont yet know about the HRWs,the Ultra is still somewhere between here and Connecticut.

I'm trying, not too successfully, not to get twitchy and impatient!!Think of me now and then when playing yours,it

looks a rather special guitar

That is gorgeous! Congratulations, rockabilly69. It's cool to hear some of you actual pros digging Heritage. Is the "deep dish" top a more pronounced carve than a regular 150? A Wolfe exclusive option, perhaps? Also, I'm curious as to why you aren't crazy about tonepros stuff. What is your preference?

Enjoy that baby, it looks like a Rocker.

Beautiful guitar. Vintage Wineburst may be my favorite finish. Post clips when you get it.

Shundog, I not a fan of the Nashvile style tonepros bridge. I prefer the locking Faber ABR and their inserts which go deeper into the body and are made of German steel. I think those inserts really helped my other H150 come alive. I have had big tone changes changing out tonepros stuffs 4 times. But I like brighter sounding LPs in general and maybe the Faber vintage style bridge just suits me better.,

Will, it's your goldtop that I really want. I might sell some guitars and order one if you don't stop hoarding yours! Throbak are now winding P90s so that makes me more desirous! And yes your wineglass is a looker!

Congrats. Wineburst is becoming a very sought after finish. Duane Allmanish.

I got mine in December. I had Jay custom order it with Brock-Dapra Burst finish and a Duncan Pearly Gate in the bridge.

I think you will love the tone. It works great though a Mesa, Fender hotrod and a Line 6 DT-25.

Hey B,I remember when you ordered yours! I'm glad it turned out the way you wanted. So

now I can't wait to see which one of these flametops will be the champion of the great

Heritage sound. The older one has Pure Handwound Custom Zhangbucker pickups which are

slightly lower output but VERY PAF like, and it also has the Faber hardware I like. So

I am very anxious to see the differences. It one totally smokes the other I will sell

the weaker and get me a custom P90'd Goltop! If they both sound equally great but different

I will save up for the goldtop:
