I scored a somewhat rare mini amp . the "Dwarf" circa '70's probaly a 75 or so . There can't be many out there and I'd bet the serial # is more accurate if you took off 2 #'s . It sounds pretty darn good , it's either battery powered or ac . It was trying to take on the pignose But I don't think they had the production down and probably couldn't keep up . Etched board and all looks like it took a while to make .The cab is a oak I believe and has some cracks here and there . I just took it apart and shot a bunch of glue in it . I'll sand it down and get it ready for the ReRanch Orange & clear that is on the way

hey that's pretty neat!!

how does it sound, compared to the pignose?

Pretty close in character with more volume , I think it's a few more watts and more gain .It has a switchable boost on the front . Not bad at all though . I'm kinda shocked these little amps sound as good as they do .

That's cool! That cab looks like it took a lot of time to build. What a fun project. Keep us abreast; eh?

I sure will , reranch arrives during the week and hopefully I get a few coats on over the weekend . I had to take is apart when I got it because the pot wasn't working , it had pushed through the back of it's housing , I was able to put that back together and saved me from hunting down a on/off switch volume pot .

Thanks man , I think that cab was oak .It was pretty easy so far . I didn't even sand it yet , shot it all in one day and no runs :icon_rr: I don't think it needed all the care you would take for a fine guitar but it worked well and should be back together tomorrow .

is that a while pignose, behind the cat?

I'll have to keep an eye out for one of those....the amp, not the cat!! lol
