Oh yeah, 4 days earlier than expected! I had to go to my gig, so I couldn't open the case, but my girlfriend

openened it up a few hours later and snapped this pic, then she texted it to me at me gig! Well I just got

home and tuned it up and it intonates perfectly which I like. I strummed it acoustically and it sounded

resonant but I can't plug in right now. I would fire it up, but my girl is sleeping right now, and I live

in a small house. It looks very nice, and the finish looks very well done, but it does feels heavier than

my other H150, so I'm going to weigh both of my H150's on an accurate scale to see exactly what they weigh.

I don't lake the chrome pickup covers, or the chrome Tonepros hardware, I prefer nickel, but I want to keep it

perfectly stock until I do the comparison tests with my historic '60 reissue Les Paul. This Saturday, I'm

meeting with my friend who owns more great vintage amplfiers than anybody I know. I will definately know

more about this guitar after that. There's some big flame on this one!

That's a beauty :) Nothing like a bit of sunlight to pull the flame out of a top! :)

Thanks H, it looks different in the darker room, more subdued, but very cool!

The string height seems high to me on the bass side, so I will address that tommorrow, and I will also change the

string gauge to my liking, which is Ernie Ball light (.009). I play acoustic guitar so much that I want a break

from the heavier acoustic gauge when I get to play electric. So I guess I will have to re-intonate. This neck

looks to be dead straight so when I go to the light guage I'll probably have to turn the truss rod a bit.

I CANT WAIT TO PLUG THIS RIG IN!

Well this is my first new Heritage, and to tell you the truth, the guitar is exceptional looking, but, it could

be a hair lighter, it's not a boat anchor, but I like them light! And I wish it was setup better, so my skills

as a guitar repair guy will be helpful. It's mainly bridge adjustment that I speak of. The frets look good,

the neck straight, and the nut is cut nice. It's setup as nice as my Historic Les Paul was. Here's a better

picture...

What's the colour, Daniel? ASB? I like the aged switch tip - nice touch :)

It's Vintage Wine Burst, do you see the red in the burst? The aged switch tip was already on there, which is nice,

cause I normally switch them to that color!!!

Congratulations. You have a nice one there. I'm sure you'll tweak it to your taste.

Can't wait for a tone report on this sweet one!

hot damn, that looks frickin' GREAT!!!

you got me jonesing to order one...argh...can't do it, or justify it... :icon_rr:

your gtr has IMO perfect blend of flame & visible grain

looks like it's ripe for top wrapping as well, which I prefer if the bridge/tailpiece height allows :D

Congratulations on a fine-looking axe! I would play it as-is for a while before making any changes, but each to their own. Once you get playing "Mystery Train", the weight shouldn't bother you.

Looks a lot like the H150 deluxe in my avatar. Beautiful flame on that and I'm a big fan of the vintage wineburst color.

As a Heritage fan, I'm hoping you judge this one favorably.

Looking forward to your review.

Oh no Blue ax. I'm a perfectionist and know exactly how I like guitars set up. I play 6 or 7 days a week, and generally have a guitar in my hands more than I don't. It's how i make my living!!! The action is too high right now, and the string gauge too heavy! But, I do like Mystery Train:)
