If this one had a rosewood strip down the back of the neck like a Rick it would be perfect.

Sounds like a 137 would be fun to have around !

I only just got my first Heritage (H535) recently but feel I'm catching the bug and probably will get more eventually. Maybe a 137 should be on the list...

Btw fxdx99, that is one fantastic looking guitar!

Been jamming on my 137 lately. I am totally convinced this is the best Heritage ever. Its simplicity, light weight, balance, bare bones look, and raw and gritty tone just makes this axe the one I would keep if I had to sell everything else off!

Now I see why some of you own more than one of these!

Anybody else feel this way?

which amp are you playing it through? using any effects?

Not sure about "the best" but this is a nasty combination ....

Mine is a heavy one, 9lbs :icon_porc: , it can go from fat clean and jazzy on the neck pickup to raw and in your face on the bridge, with excellent sustain.

Pure rock n roll Paul, great picture....

SouthpawGuy, is that a stock Laney VC30 you have there ?

I have owned both the VC15 and VC30 and they sounded great with my teles but I didn't really enjoy it as much with humbuckers.

It's a TT50 combo, 50 watt three channel with clean, rhythm overdrive and lead channels. Separate reverb, EQ ( bass, mid and treble), gain and volume controls for each channel. For a 50w valve amp it's really portable. It does Fender type cleans well and Marshall style crunch to all out metal is also not a problem. Sounds fantastic with singles and humbuckers.

I like Laneys. Good bang for the buck.
