Video: Prospect through an Egnater Tweaker

I kept handing my buddy guitars yesterday to play, and got a few iphone videos. Here's one of the Prospect that hopefully dispells any notions that guitars with F holes can't rock!

Yeah, Victor, Dave can really play; especially considering he's damn near blind from 30 years or so of Diabetes. He came over with this Egnater and his PRS Custom 24 to play. I admired his PRS, but, like I said, I kept handing him Heritage's (and one Gibson) to play. He was impressed with how punchy the Prospect was with it's SD 59s. I dug the manageable feedback he was getting with a pretty hot amp.

Yeh, that's a cranking sound - the prospy/eggy. Nice riff in Shine there.

Bruce Egnater nailed a pretty good od sound. What I would like him to do is make an amp with less options. Just a couple of tone controls gain and volume. Maybe a clean channel.

When I got my Egnater Tour Master I gathered up all the Marshalls, Vox's and Mesa's I could find and did a serious a/b amongst them all. The Egnater held its own. It could mimic the others and then do stuff the others couldnt.

Down side was it was the Tour Master was like those amps it was competing against. It only gave up the goods at a volume that was a little too loud. Also, it weighed a ton.

a friend of mine has an egnator amp & loves it, I think it might be the tweaker
