JAM Posted February 27, 2013 Posted February 27, 2013 OK... I have a Beautiful solid Gloss Black H-535 that is nicer than any guitar I ever hoped to own. It has a pickguard which is a gorgeous Flamed Maple w/ translucent Black finish. Only problem is... it really doesn't go with the rest of the guitar. It may not be very visible in the photo, but there's a really pronounced difference seen in real life. I see from the Heritage Custom website that they do offer a PG in solid Black. My question is, how do I go about acquiring one? Can I contact Heritage directly? Or must I contact one of their distributors, and if so, which one is suggested ? TIA cheers! Jim
High Flying Bird Posted February 27, 2013 Posted February 27, 2013 For a pickguard I would call them tomorrow morning just after the rooster crows. 269-385-5721, that's 269-385-5721.......
H Posted February 27, 2013 Posted February 27, 2013 If you're not worried about it being made of wood, why not take your existing pickguard to a signwriter and have a new one made from BWB signwriters' plastic? I kitted out a black Rick 360 with all black pickguards like this a few years ago.
squawken Posted February 27, 2013 Posted February 27, 2013 I called Heritage and they made a custom PG for my 150. They will probably tell you to take a picture of the guitar and trace the old PG
bolero Posted March 3, 2013 Posted March 3, 2013 where are you located? I have a natural 535 pickguard I painted opaque black w/nitro, would do a straight trade if you want?
bolero Posted March 3, 2013 Posted March 3, 2013 bah I just cheked on it... forgot I had started to strip it back down to natural, so it's a bit of a mess right now. sorry
