I left my acoustic in the car and played the H150 for my house Wednesday gig at The Montage Resort. I played it through my pedal board, then into my Allen and Heath Mixer, sent to the house Bose L1 System. It sounded great! I played it for an hour set, then retired it.

Here it is sitting on the house Steinway:)

SD Pearly Gates, I have a pickguard, but nothing is drilled. I do use pickguards so I may defile mine soon:)

I'm assuming the towel underneath your 150 is to protect the guitar, not the Steinway! :laughing9: Two very nice instruments there. I'm glad to hear your Heritage covered the show with flying colors.

Don't you just hate it when they jump up on the piano like that and just sit there, smug, like they own the place.

Yeah, that's the worst..... :icon_rr:

So how do you like the Pearly Gates pickups?

I think I have them adjusted to the best they can be for me. The neck pickup is pretty nice, but the bridge

isn't exactly what I need, it's too thin, I need more mids. I've heard better, so I just ordered a set

of custom shop Peter Green Seymour Duncan humbuckers, although the set I ordered doesn't have the

reversed magnet in the neck pickup.

This is what they sound like...

wow when he starts soloing around 1:30 onward I can totally hear where Beano era Clapton got his licks & style from....I bet he jammed along to this 1,000,000 times as a kid

even the little raking thing he does is in there

Bolero you do realize this is roadrunner covering Freddie King! He is using his historic LP with the SD pickups through his blackface 65 Princeton.

haha no I didn't, who is roadrunner?

funny I was thinking Freddie (y) would have been using P90's back then, but those didn't sound like P90's, lol

a fabulous looking guitar, if only Mrs 555 would agree that it is time I bought one!

Roadrunner is a very good guitarist at The Les Paul Forum, his sound samples are usually great!

Better take her to dinner, and buy her some flowers!
