Say WHAAA?!! :laughing9: Dude, I only live like 2 hours away; you could have had visitation rights on your old 137!

Seriously, though, that thing is the nicest 137 I've ever seen, what with the unique finish and the blingy bridge. I'm glad you are back in the fold, Otto. Congratulations, Enjoy It!!

That thing is really souped up! I read the specs on that guitar! And what a great price you got if for. Its not often you find one with as many enhancements at that price. Good job! If you ever decide to sell yet another 137 (lol) I would like to call dibbs on this one!

I was just reading your other thread...you seemed to focussing in on telecasters or ASATs. I guess something happened on the way to a G&L purchase.

You got it bad, man!

Nice looking axe.

Thanks Slammer. You called dibbs so you got 'em. But there's a better chance of me selling my Millie than selling this one anytime soon.

I was telling GPuma earlier that I came to my senses just in time on the ASAT (I had the credit card in my hand and the guy on the phone). That was yesterday.

Today I was doing my daily check of ebay and this thing has just posted (couple hours old maybe). I figured that I had "saved" the money on the ASAT so why not? I called the store directly. Unlike with the ASAT, I didn't bail at the last minute on this one.

The ebony fretboard, strap locks and the bridge are what sold me....

I can see you explaining it to the Mrs. now....

"Honey, I KNOW I had pretty much the same guitar and I just sold it, but THIS one has strap locks!!" :laughing9: BTW, that's the only change I made to the one I got from you; I'm way too big a klutz to not have strap locks on anything worth anything.

Ebony board? Mmmmmmmmmmmmm...

Nice snatch.

You should have heard the conversation as I asked "Ellie" (BTW - sweetest guitar store employee ever) to ship it to my office. She said she couldn't because that address wasn't linked to my card. We arranged an evening delivery for Friday (again, she's awesome). Now I just have to get my wife and daughters out of the house. "You know girls, you deserve an evening out...why don't you head out for pizza? I'll watch the baby." Yeah...that should work.

I think that's the prettiest 137 I've ever seen. Congrats! And yeah, nice bridge too - never seen one like it before.

Why not do as some of us and have it delivered to a local UPS store. Goin' Postal probably does it too. The charge a few dollars to accept delivery and you get to pick it up at an opportune time of your choosing.

Probably cost less than a night out for your wife and the girls.

DAmn. Wish I had known about that option.

VERY cool lil' ol' ax there!

I can relate to that simplicity and vibe. Love it.

Lollars are cool pickups.

Ya done good!

So you are the one. Congrats! I was eyeing that one up, sweating it out. I just purchased a new amp, so I was tring to rationalize it. I thought a great price too. Enjoy!
