yoslate Posted March 16, 2013 Posted March 16, 2013 My first Heritage was a 576, Larry. Great guitar! Very, very versatile! And that one's a honey. Congratulations.
golferwave Posted March 16, 2013 Posted March 16, 2013 Oh Yes! - Can't wait to hear the tone report. All of the employees signatures on the tag is way cool! Congrats!
schundog Posted March 16, 2013 Posted March 16, 2013 Congratulations, Larry. Do you play some jazz? Or, like me, do you have an inner urge to try to learn at least some? Either way, this box ought to do you right. And since Pete Moreno gave it the go-over, you are good as gold, my friend. Have fun with it!
big bob Posted March 16, 2013 Posted March 16, 2013 I'm coming to your place. Now which amp will you need to buy to go with it!
eljay Posted March 16, 2013 Author Posted March 16, 2013 Do you play some jazz? Or, like me, do you have an inner urge to try to learn at least some?hey, brian! thank you for the kind words. more the latter than the former, but mostly an urge to have a H jazz box. i was thinking in terms of a 575, as they seem to be universally admired, when good dr. mg put the 576 out there. knees immediately buckled and i'm very excited. i like to play oldies melodies, sometimes, like "sleepwalk" and "tequila," to name a couple, and it will be fun to hear them and their ilk on a jazzer. taking a page from johnny a (a big marshall amps advocate), i think i'll start out playing the 576 through my li'l dawg pug reverb, an 18-watt marshall clone. next week is spring break, too! what's not to like? regards, larry
houndhome Posted March 16, 2013 Posted March 16, 2013 That looks to be one very special guitar.Congratulations. Dont let your greyhound eat it!!

schundog Posted March 19, 2013 Posted March 19, 2013 Fantastic, Larry, Congratulations. I gotta say, the ol' girl is looking a lot better than she did the last time I saw her at Pete Moreno's shop.... I think Mark had it in there to get some new electronics put in.
