Thanks to our old buddy Ron, (High Flying Bird) I am now the proud owner of a TV Yellow H-137..Sir Bird would you do me a favor and post a couple of pics? Thanks Scott

Good for you, Scott! I've (kinda surprisingly to me) found I really like these. Kinda splits the distance between a 150 and a tele.

Hmmm - what the heck was Ron thinking?

Congratulations, Scott. Now, don't SELL this one!! They definitely Rock.

I won"t..I think Ron is thinking 6 string bass..At least that's what he said on the phone..

Ron will probably kill me for taking such a horrible pic of his guitar, but here's what it looked like last August.

Actually that is a good photo of the guitar. That is about the way the yellow looks.

With a 535 and 357 in the house the 137 was just sitting around. Now that I am messing with the 6 string bass I decided to get a decent one and return the Ibanez Gio to Guitar Center. Linda's rule, one in, one out!

Linda's rule, one in, one out!

See you haven't shared the 'how many guitars is the right number' thread w/Linda, yet...

6 string bass! Ye gads, those must be monsters. Bet you can lay it down between a couple sawhorses and sit down to Sunday dinner on it!

We saw the manager of Guitar Center at the "88 Buffet"* Saturday afternoon. I didn't bother to introduce them.... for his sake.

The Gio had a fretboard as wide as the thick end of a boat paddle. The bass I ordered has almost a 1/2 inch thinner fretboard. The string spacing at the bridge is 16.5mm on the Gio and 14mm on the Veasley.

* 88 Buffet. If you can eat their Hot & Sour soup and walk 88 steps out of the place and not sully your knickers the meal is free. Many have tried..... most have failed.

Yep and Those Lollars are Killer!!

rethink that 'one in one out' axiom..as it's like putting money in the bank. better, IMO..

whether true or not, it's a good argument. but it may not pass the Ms. HFB muster I know.

by the way, back OT, smurph, congrats on that 137 grab, it's a good 'un.

Congratulations on a nice score!

That is a sweet little guitar. I've played it a few times, but don't worry the suck has probably worn off by now :)
