there are two variables at play.

 

1) the distance between the two humbuckers, and 2) the location of the hole near the neck joint.

 

What I can tell you with certainty is that the hole location varies on 535's, so if you are buying a predrilled pickguard, you may have an issue. Additionally the distance between the buckers may vary slightly between the brands, but not within the brand.

the other thing is that 335 pickguards are Plastic. That is an easy material to fabricate. You should be able to make a 335 PG to put on a 535 without too much effort or cost, assuming you've got a Dremel and or drill/scroll saw/files.

 

If you're looking for wooden pickguards a la a 535, you CAN buy them un drilled from Parsons Street. I got that directly from Bill Paige 4 weeks ago.
