knopfler74 Posted April 7, 2013 Posted April 7, 2013 Marty sent me these before he sent the guitar out on Friday. I have gold knobs and a cream pickguard here at home that I was planning to install, but I'm wondering what you all think of this look with the old pickguard and knobs? Anyway, hope everyone's weekend was awesome. MINE WAS! I found an awesome deal on a new acoustic to compliment my Taylor. Pics coming Friday! WAHOOOOOO! M
totonka Posted April 7, 2013 Posted April 7, 2013 I think some black pick up rings and get rid of that poker chip, and that is a fine unique looking sunburst guitar, that is different from the normal cream colored condiments. Looks good either way though. Really nice refin job.
DetroitBlues Posted April 7, 2013 Posted April 7, 2013 Hate to admit it, but that came out nice. Looks great!
TalismanRich Posted April 8, 2013 Posted April 8, 2013 The classic cherry burst is a great color. I don't think I would go with the cream colored pickguard. It may be traditional, but i think they look a bit cheap on a guitar. I much prefer the wood guards that Heritage puts on the 157s, etc. The multilayer black would be my second choice. Its just my preference.
