smokedtires Posted April 15, 2013 Posted April 15, 2013 Just got a new Blackstar and must say this is an amazing amp! 5 tube watts and 2 channels. The clean are good, not Blackface great but still good. The dirty is great! The infinite sound knob is a very nice feature. Comes with an effect loop. And best of all, this thing sounds really good at low volumes. I have a TT combo that I also really enjoy, but can't get the sounds I get with the Blackface at low volumes (happy family).
schundog Posted April 15, 2013 Posted April 15, 2013 Right ON! I've seen some of those in stores, but purposely never plugged into one, as I was afraid it would lead to coming home with another amp, which I don't need! Enjoy your new noisemaker.
H Posted April 15, 2013 Posted April 15, 2013 I've had a lot of fun with this amp and some of its bigger sisters, the Series One 45 and the Artisan 15. Nice snatch!
smokedtires Posted April 15, 2013 Author Posted April 15, 2013 Thanks guys. Plugged in the pedal board last night and with the Mr Springgy reverb and Boss chorus the cleans are more chimey. I think this is going to be a great addition to my solo living room rock concerts!
smokedtires Posted April 15, 2013 Author Posted April 15, 2013 A couple of pics to go with post. Seems my phone camera lense isn't so great these days.

smokedtires Posted April 19, 2013 Author Posted April 19, 2013 Those are SD P-Rails. How do you like them? Yep, P-Rails. I liked them very much in my Godin, which you can't tell from the blurry picture, but ended up putting them in my H140 afterwards as well. They are great very getting more versatility from one guitar.
