tulk1 Posted April 18, 2013 Posted April 18, 2013 And I've always loved that pic.... how amazing to own the instrument .... Congrats. That pic is the epitome of what Heritage is all about. If anyone wants to understand The Heritage Guitar Company, just show them this. Awesome!!
bolero Posted April 18, 2013 Author Posted April 18, 2013 thx guys...yeah I am over the moon!!it is so cool to have a personal guitar built by these guysespecially someone like Marv...who started working at Gibson in 1956 and whose hands shaped so many iconic guitars...it's an honour
bolero Posted April 18, 2013 Author Posted April 18, 2013 yep I can do that...will have time over the weekend
big bob Posted April 18, 2013 Posted April 18, 2013 did you get a chunky neck? belly carve? details Man!
JeffB Posted April 18, 2013 Posted April 18, 2013 Wow! Nice ......score!. That is a really nice guitar.
JeffB Posted April 18, 2013 Posted April 18, 2013 Yes nice SNAG (not snatch) did you get this one from Jack? Snag is either a sausage, a Sensitive New Age Guy or something that rips a set net apart and destroyed my weekends and after school time as a kid.
bolero Posted April 18, 2013 Author Posted April 18, 2013 did you get a chunky neck? belly carve? details Man! haha, right well I didn't realize that firebird's have a belly carve so I never even thought of asking for it neck is chunky, that was the only way Marv would do it which is fine by me not sure about the checkerboard pickguard: but I see do a B5 bigsby on the horizon... when King Arthur picked up Excalibur it must have felt the same way...seriously this thing is ALIVE with tone...can't wait to get home tonight & plug it in
