Funkyou Posted April 26, 2013 Posted April 26, 2013 Hi guys, I am from Turkey and 32 years old engineer. 2 years ago i bought a H 150 DLX from e bay. Its prety prety the best guitar in the world for me. But When i bought it, i did not know its the deluxe. And now i dont know about deluxe models. has the opportinity to compare H 150 and H 150 Deluxe. Diferences are seen, - Headstock and body same wood, -Pickguard and body same wood, -Pickup is HRW i didnot see another difference. Any one know about more information for this respect, pls help me and i will teach it. Its my babys photos; Mybabys seria number begin with O, its mean 1998 i know. And special 3 digit is 188. its 188. Deluxe... But idont know anything except their. Actually, its not most important this baby has a great sound. Only curiosity...
chico Posted April 26, 2013 Posted April 26, 2013 welcome and nice baby. the Deluxe has the binding up the headstock, premium flamed wood top (yours is very flamed), and HRW's which themselves are bringing around $300 bucks a pair now, since Heritage stopped using them. those would be the primary differences over a H150 CM-CL
golferwave Posted April 26, 2013 Posted April 26, 2013 Welcome to the club! That is a beautiful H-150. Does it have the comfort carve (belly cut) on the back? Very nice flamey top also!
Blunote Posted April 26, 2013 Posted April 26, 2013 It will also have a 5 ply binding on the body. Beautiful guitar, btw.

tulk1 Posted April 26, 2013 Posted April 26, 2013 Whats the little Tele-esque gem sitting between the 150s? Looks like a player.
Funkyou Posted April 26, 2013 Author Posted April 26, 2013 Whats the little Tele-esque gem sitting between the 150s? Looks like a player. She was born 3 month ago, flamed walnut cap and ash body. Maple neck and rosewood fingerboard. Sperzel locking turners, babicz bridge, Joe Barden Danny Gatton pickup ( I think about the change neck pickup, Joe Barden P 90.. ) Neck is slim and ergonomic, sustain is good. And sound is right to me for blues and classical rock.. 4 channel on JCM 800 Bass: 7, Treble:6, Presence: 7, Mid: 6 Neck, Volume : 4 https://soundcloud.com/tugay-karabay-r/telecaster-neck Bridge, Volume : 8 https://soundcloud.com/tugay-karabay...ecaster-bridge Ah i forgot, all recordings were performed with ipad2 . Maybe microphone is better quality than ipad...
Millennium Maestro Posted April 26, 2013 Posted April 26, 2013 My6 deluxes all came with Duncan 59s so I think someone paid to upgrade the pickups, the control cavity will usually have a decal with some of the model specifics and special build details. I think I have #187

Normal H150's come with a plastic finger rest. I really like the wood ones.
