Did a rock and roll gig with the H150 yesterday and it was GREAT. The guitar really sang!
Allthe mods paid off. The neck pickup really came through and to tellyou the truth that was

the hardest part to dial in on this guitar!

The gig was outdoors at Snowbird ski resort so I got to crank my Deleuxe Reverb.

Your smile kind of says it all ! It's great to be able to really turn up outside. I'll bet that H-150 made a lot of people's day. Hey, do you ever come across a skier up there by the name of Guru Dave Powers ?

Wow, nice looking guitar (and smile too). Is that Vintage Wine Burst?

Even if you didn't pick it up people would have loved to just look at it.

"Every picture tells a story, don't it...." That's one happy lookin' boy, right there. And the 150's a stunner! Bet it was a swell gig.

It was great to finally just play the guitar with my electric band. I play at least 5 days a week solo acoustic and have to carry the whole show myself. My band The Bastard Redheads is made up of leaders of four different bands and we only play about a dozen times a year, so I really look forward to these shows. This band plays my songs just the way I wrote them and a bunch of cool covers. I think we played Moonlight Mile by the Stones the best we ever played it. And people in the audience had a great time!!!

Good thing there was some sun to warm things up. An outdoor night gig in cool weather is tough when fretting cold strings. At least that's how it was up North in da UP.

Rob, "Every Picture Tells A Story", I love playing that song, and you never know when I'm going to throw it in a set. I also do Gasoline Alley, Handbags and Glad Rags, Maggie May, Reason To Believe, I'm Losing You, Stay With Me, Mystify Me (Ron Wood), and few others from that era.

yep, that's a good life right there.

hope I'm able to catch your act someday, in any of it's various manifestations. Seems like you do it right.
