Where did you purchase it? I love to tell this story. I had just purchased a McCarty Rosewood and told my wife that I thought a really nice Single Cut would look great sitting next to it. Really, I said that. We looked at Edwards, PRS & PRS SE, Epi's, etc. Nothing really fit the bill. In the meantime, I decided to retube my AC30CC1, since it came with Chinese pres rather than the promised Tung-Sol. I was looking at Doug's Tubes, saw the For Sale link. And there was this most gorgeous Heritage H157. Doug and I talked tubes and guitars. And this baby came home to me. Along with the Tung-sols. It's an '05. Got just a few normal usage dings. And you have to look for those.
Thundersteel Posted December 7, 2007 Posted December 7, 2007 I just might and give myself a Christmas present I really want. I'm considering selling my H157. I have too many guitars, and I have taken up playing bass again. If anyone's interested, PM me.
DrFrankStein Posted December 12, 2007 Posted December 12, 2007 I can not get over that finish! That thing is gorgeous. I amnot a fanof gold hardware, but it works on that finish.

I'm not a huge fan of gold hardware, either. Seems, tho', that if it's supposed to be a "Custom" as in a G-Custom, it has gold. ??? If it's anything like my '75LPC it'll all wear off with a few months good usage, anyway. I think it might be the one piece top that is setting this one apart so much. Not sure how I lucked into that one.
