NewHeritageowner Posted October 25, 2007 Posted October 25, 2007 Hi I am new to the board and bought a nice 2000 Golden Eagle and was wondering if anyone knows if the finish is nitro or poly? The guitar had a single neck HUMB. ala Wes Mont. and the original owner added a bridge HUMB. and refretted with some large frets that I like. Other than wanting to put in some new PUPS I really like this guitar. Great player! Thanks for the help. JR
GuitArtMan Posted October 25, 2007 Posted October 25, 2007 To the best of my knowledge ALL Heritages are finished in nitrocelulose lacquer.
Yankeefan01 Posted October 25, 2007 Posted October 25, 2007 To the best of my knowledge ALL Heritages are finished in nitrocelulose lacquer. That's what I thought. No poly.
NewHeritageowner Posted October 26, 2007 Author Posted October 26, 2007 Nitro seems to be the winner. Wonder why they do not post it on the site, seems like a great selling point. Maybe I missed it.
Gitfiddler Posted October 27, 2007 Posted October 27, 2007 From what I've seen at dealers since the late 80's, that's all they've ever used on their archtops. I agree that Heritage should advertise that fact.
