koula901 Posted June 3, 2013 Posted June 3, 2013 Yep Yep Hercules stands are all I use. me too. The guitar came this way. Very likely it's an overspray. I posted these same concerns when I first bought this guitar, to this forum.
koula901 Posted June 3, 2013 Posted June 3, 2013 I have heard that import taxes on guitars in Australia make them very expensive. The top on the 150 you have posted pictures of looks beautiful, if you can get some discount for the nitro burn maybe it will make the guitar a more attractive price. American guitars are very expensive over here in the Uk, but sometimes, getting the right guitar can be more important than the price. That is of course, if you have the spare money.... Good luck, let us know what you decide to do. except that it's not nitro burn.
koula901 Posted June 3, 2013 Posted June 3, 2013 Another way of saying Yes. And then we tend to get silly with stuff, sometimes. Did he send you a pic of the chip? I'd think a damaged "new" guitar isn't new and maybe he could shave more off the price. Just my opinion, and have NO idea what he's already put into the guitar $$-wise. you know what - I am the only other owner and it truly was a case queen as I didn't play it, but 2 or 3 times. It is almost too pretty to play. The guitar has been heavily discounted already, and it is almost new because it wasn't used much at all. Maybe you're getting this much discount because of that chip tulk is mentioning.
