Genericmusic Posted May 22, 2013 Posted May 22, 2013 snatchelectable or should I say snatchalicious. Whatever, it is very cool.
brentrocks Posted May 22, 2013 Author Posted May 22, 2013 So, what is he body wood on it? Weren't the specials usually poplar or something like that? or is it more special than the usual special? Definitely a unique instrument. you know Dave, I had the pickups off yesterday and I didn't look....that was stupid!!! its pretty heavy, i'm guessing poplar
brentrocks Posted May 22, 2013 Author Posted May 22, 2013 Wow, that one sure cleaned up nice! I was sort of on the "wtf, it's blue??" when I saw it on ebay, but with the grassy background and the sun on it, it looks like a little gem! Nice buy Mr Brent! thanks dude!!
schundog Posted May 23, 2013 Posted May 23, 2013 That thing must have a light switch on it somewhere that turns the lights on inside the guitar; it absolutely glows! Many congrats, Brent!

Thanks Brian! its something about the way Heritage did the bluebursts.....they did a lighter blueburst on some of the Ed Roman Blues Deluxes, those were pretty too
brentrocks Posted May 23, 2013 Author Posted May 23, 2013 I think I might have a rain out tomorrow....I hope do get a clip of this done soon....it sounds GREAT
tbonesullivan Posted May 25, 2013 Posted May 25, 2013 see, now I'm regretting not trying to get it, but on the other hand I've already got so many awesome guitars.... that thing is beautiful though. how is the weight on it?
rockabilly69 Posted May 25, 2013 Posted May 25, 2013 Brent that guitar has some pretty good clarity through the dirt. It sounds by what/how you were playing that you really like this one.
brentrocks Posted May 27, 2013 Author Posted May 27, 2013 After much deliberation, I don't think im gonna keep this one.....I have contacted those who call dibs......after that, its open to whoever wants it.......I have a little over $875 into it, not looking to make a huge profit on it. just break even.
PunkKitty Posted May 27, 2013 Posted May 27, 2013 Damn. That's tempting. If I didn't have 4 great Heritages already I'd add my name to the dibs list.

Man... that is tempting. If you get through the dibbs list and no one bites, let me know.

HANGAR18 Posted June 5, 2013 Posted June 5, 2013 NGD! Thanks for doing all the heavy lifting for me on this one Brent! I am cocked, locked and ready to rock! The Heritage guitar pick inside the case was a nice touch too.
schundog Posted June 7, 2013 Posted June 7, 2013 Way to jump fast on that one, Danny!!! What an awesome guitar; I'm not normally crazy about blue finishes, but that thing is fantastic looking! You ARE coming back to PSP, aren't you?!
DetroitBlues Posted June 7, 2013 Posted June 7, 2013 That's how I wish my old blue 150 was done... I love that finish!
Guest HRB853370 Posted June 7, 2013 Posted June 7, 2013 Way to jump fast on that one, Danny!!! What an awesome guitar; I'm not normally crazy about blue finishes, but that thing is fantastic looking! You ARE coming back to PSP, aren't you?! I hope so, since I have retired as a drummer!
HANGAR18 Posted June 7, 2013 Posted June 7, 2013 congrats Hangar and bring it to PSP VI Way to jump fast on that one, Danny!!! What an awesome guitar; I'm not normally crazy about blue finishes, but that thing is fantastic looking! You ARE coming back to PSP, aren't you?! Well, I was planning on bringing the trans black H157 I recently acquired but I can certainly bring this one instead so everyone can take it out for a test drive. (I say this figuratively because I intend to keep it.) I'm also kinda chuckling because we learned of this really nifty guitar as a result of Big Bob starting a thread called "Eeeeeekk" to express his dislike of the finish. hahahaha But I like it.
tbonesullivan Posted June 7, 2013 Posted June 7, 2013 definitely is one beautiful guitar. If I didn't already have the kahuna AND an H150CM, I would have gone after it. Well, that and a ton of other guitars that I barely play. Can't wait to see it at PSP.
