tonedeaf Posted May 22, 2013 Posted May 22, 2013 It appears that I have purchased this H-150: http://www.ebay.com/itm/The-Heritage-2001-H-150-Electric-Guitar-Right-Handed-Case-Included-NICE-/171040777044?_trksid=p2047675.l2557&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEWAX%3AIT&nma=true&si=Q2PX3deRQz08wKZu4EFI4MjQn9c%253D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc
Number8 Posted May 22, 2013 Posted May 22, 2013 Thank goodness. I almost put in a low-ball bid because I kind of liked it. I figured I'd get sniped out around 1200 though.
H Posted May 22, 2013 Posted May 22, 2013 You've done well and it appears there are no strings attached in this deal! VSB is a fantastic finish for a 150. Let me know if you have problems finding new Schaller pickup rings - they're easy to source in the UK.
LK155 Posted May 22, 2013 Posted May 22, 2013 Very nice looking hunk of rosewood on that fretboard. Good score.
gpuma Posted May 22, 2013 Posted May 22, 2013 I was wondering who got that! Great deal... glad it's in the family!
Blunote Posted May 22, 2013 Posted May 22, 2013 Before I saw the correction on the pups, I noticed how low they were set in the rings and started looking for a dot on the selector tip. Sure enought, HRWs. Of course they sound particularly good! Thats gonna be a great player at a bargain price. Looks like years of grit and gunk to clean off the fretboart though...yuk.

Yeah, I almost didn't bid because I was not sure if it was gunk or a bad repair.
