Arsen Posted May 24, 2013 Posted May 24, 2013 Hallo All! I am from Kiev, Ukraine. I have been purchased Heritage H 550 and now expect delivery. Does anybody know what type and sizes of neck at this model and what caliber of strings it is completed ? thanks
tulk1 Posted May 24, 2013 Posted May 24, 2013 HI Arsen, Welcome to the HoC. No clue on either of your questions. Just wanted to welcome you to our club. Nice choice for a jazz box. Pictures will be expected from you after it's received. There are plenty of Heritage hollow body players on the HoC. You should get a better answer to your questions soon.
C9Y Posted May 24, 2013 Posted May 24, 2013 Congratulations on your great new guitar. Welcome to the HOC! I am sure someone else may correct me, but my H150 came with .010-.046 strings. I hope this helps.

HANGAR18 Posted July 5, 2013 Posted July 5, 2013 here, finally that waited till delivery is a wonderful guitar ! I am high pleased Wow! That is a very good looking guitar! I do not have a guitar like that but I am guessing that you would not want to install any strings smaller than size 10 as the high E string. 10 or larger. This is just my opinion and I believe others will express their opinions as well.
Arsen Posted July 5, 2013 Author Posted July 5, 2013 O! yes, I have install 11-50 strings, this one http://www.daddario.com/DADProductDetail.Page?ActiveID=3769&productid=49&productname=ECG24_Chromes_Flat_Wound__Jazz_Light__11_50

SouthpawGuy Posted July 9, 2013 Posted July 9, 2013 Thanks for all after komplementy ! does anybody can divided an experience - what lamp amp. will be the best of this model - Heritage H550 (for home and studio - low power, below 15 watts)? thanks for all !!! You can't really go wrong with a Fender Blues Junior, 15 watts with 12" speaker http://www.thomann.de/ie/fender_blues_junior_iii.htm
Arsen Posted July 9, 2013 Author Posted July 9, 2013 I play traditional jazz unfortunately I have't video with my new H550 as yet. )))) will be soon
Bulldog Posted July 9, 2013 Posted July 9, 2013 Excellent, well done. Your style along with the new guitar are going to be a great fit. A marriage made in heaven.
SofaPlayer Posted July 9, 2013 Posted July 9, 2013 Nice video! If you are looking for a tube amp for home playing, I recommend to buy one with a master volume. It is nearly impossible to keep the volume low on all others. Check the Mesas, they usually can be played at home volume. For what it's worth, the current Fender reissues are not of good quality in my opinion.

Which is why I suggested the Blues Jnr, it was one of the few Fender valve amps that I tried that could be played at very low volumes.
