schundog
In the back of my mind, when I bought my first speaker cab ever for $30 at Monster Pawn a few weeks ago, I had a feeling it was going to cost me a lot more than $30. I was right, but, so far not TOO much more. I picked up this 5 watt/15 watt switchable head for $200 from GC, used. Effects loop, built in Tube Screamer (which would be around $100 on it's own, so what the heck?!) What's to say, it sounds really good through the 16 ohm Peavey Blue Marvel that the home made cab is loaded with. I can only imagine it would sound much better with a better speaker like the Weber Blue Dog that is in the Peavey Classic 30 pictured. I sampled my Tele, H-170 with Alumitones, and my H-150 with Lindy Fralins through it. Very nice tone throughout, sounding better/louder, obviously when on the 15 Watt setting. Here it is. DetroitBlues
Is it a bad sign when they misspell China? Otherwise, seems like a cool amp... Congrats!
