This one has crossed the country a couple of times. Made in Kalamazoo in 1998, it went to NY where it was purchased at a music store. It then went to 2BorNot2Bop in Washington. Next, it went to NY. Now it's coming back to Kalamazoo.

The guitar has had great reviews from reliable sources. It is transluscent blue based on the Chinery collection.

Here are some pix. I can't embed them with this POS PC though.

This guitar was made when Heritage did the 7 layer binding on the neck and cupid's bow. Now they do 5. The headstock inlay is MOP on this guitar, while the newer ones have MOP and abalone. So I guess it's a wash as far as they fancy factor goes.

She's an archtop with a thousand looks, depending upon the type of light striking her. I couldn't be more happy that she's found a home among such a fine archtop collection!

Are you going to put the original ebony bridge back on or stick with the metal TOM?

I gotta hear how it sounds. Both bridges will arrive with Big Blue tomorrow.

The seller uses Elixir Nanowebs 12-52s. Each time I've tried them they've been a bit too bright for me. So I expect to make some adjustments.

I have always hated how a metal TOM sounded on an archtop, until Lee Ritenour. But his tone is one of my favorite archtop jazz tones so go figure.
