SofaPlayer Posted June 24, 2013 Posted June 24, 2013 How long did it take before the first 1000 with the reg number on the back of the headstock were built? When were #1 and #1000 built? Just curious.
SofaPlayer Posted June 25, 2013 Author Posted June 25, 2013 So assuming #1 was built in 1985, it may roughly have taken about 20 years to built the first 1000, that's more or less 50 GEs a year. Nice! Thanks for your help.

SofaPlayer Posted June 25, 2013 Author Posted June 25, 2013 Completing one a week doesn't mean it took one week to built it.
Ned Posted June 25, 2013 Posted June 25, 2013 as we say in project management, 9 women can have a baby in a month.
SouthpawGuy Posted June 25, 2013 Posted June 25, 2013 I have 103 from 1988 That's a very impressive collection indeed ! Sorry, had to go there
SouthpawGuy Posted June 25, 2013 Posted June 25, 2013 But seriously ... if they're doing about fifty a year completing on average one a week that might explain why some finishes/ colours are most common for that model. They're hardly going to finish a batch of blue ones when brown burst is more favoured ?
