Hey, congrats on the new guit Paul.  So last night's 'check it out' worked out... excellent.  Beauty - 335s look nice in natural finish.  Its got really good sounding pickups in it, too (mine has the sl's as well  8)    Enjoy!!

thanks all, yes last nights checkout worked out well. Usually when I get guitars I'll have to spend a few hours getting them back to good shape, not this one. She was up & running in 25 minutes!

This one has a real sweet woody tone to it. Great pickups. The bridge has that snarl & bark to it I love.

Man, I was trying to bend those 12s he had on there and it was a killer! Plus the flatwounds had a thumpy dull sound to them, great for jazz but nothing else.

Very Nice 535!

 

Put a set of 11 DR Pure Nickel roundwounds on that bad boy and bending as well as great tone will be happenin'! 8)

 

Is that a lefty case? ;D
