Jmundell Posted June 28, 2013 Posted June 28, 2013 Curious what comes stock from the factory? Any standard nut upgrades around here?
High Flying Bird Posted June 28, 2013 Posted June 28, 2013 Plastic. If I were to replace a nut I would go for the synthetic ones. I broke off my search a few months back so I don't have the details. When I play though an amp I don't have sustain problems. Never have. I barely get to play my guitars. When I do I just play them.
Jmundell Posted June 28, 2013 Author Posted June 28, 2013 Thanks! Just ordered a Tusq nut designed for another american guitar closely related to the H150. Hope it fits. Was only a few bucks on fleabay.
DC Ron Posted June 28, 2013 Posted June 28, 2013 Tusq is more than adequate. I like the look of unbleached bone so usually go for that.
jazzblues Posted June 29, 2013 Posted June 29, 2013 Are the same nuts fitted to all custom builds? It'd be great if you could order a Tusq nut from the factory, changing nuts can be a pain.

A bone nut has always been an option for a custom build, and if I remember correctly it doesn't cost that much more.
