P90 357 clip

well I finally had time to plug in for a bit..haven't played for a while and it shows..anyway i had a mic set up, here's what a 357 sounds like with P90's

 

( the mold must be affecting my brain, I couldn't remember how to play "strange brew"....oh well you get the idea )

haha sorry but it was utter crap...here I recorded the rhtyhm part & then played that back on my smartphone & soloed a bit over it...actually I started singing the verse but realized the mic wouldn't pick it up

*edit* I guess I could have moved the mic or something, the 2 tracks sound the same & there is no layering etc

 

but I flipped pups to try to get some variation

amp is a little 20 watter with 2x 6V6 power tubes, a 6SN7 phase inverter and a 12AX7 preamp...I have a celestion gold alnico in there for now

 

here is the control panel, it's a bit complicated compared to your typical MESA or modern Marshall

I didn't think there'd be much interest in the amp.....it's an under the radar brand name & I was trying to keep it that way :D

So THat's what they mean 'if it sounds as good as it looks'! That's one sweet guitar, Chris. And some killer chops. Nice!
