You gotta go 357 if you have that itch. You'll always be able to find a 535, Millie's are out there.... But when's the last time you saw anyone but Brent move a 357, and that was within the family...

+1 on the 357. fabulous guitar, and will not be easy to find in the future.

Any excuse to post my answer.

I was at NAMM today talking to Lane Zastrow and I mentioned that I just picked up my 357 and how much I loved it, he seemed genuinely surprised that Marv did another couple 357s. And +1 on eljay's +1 there are not many more 357s in the future. If I read the tea leaves correctly, there may be only three more to be completed.

Southpaw I think you'd be fine with a 357 in fact I was going to try & get one flipped because I prefer the toggle up top. my lefty buddy tried mine & he loved it.

1. 357

2. 535

3. Millie DC

That's assuming you like the 357. It's not for everyone. I'm not sure I could ever play one. But if I wanted a Marv exclusive, it'd have to be that one. Altho' I have two custom orders with Marv necks. Close, altho' not quite a whole guitar.

If it were up to me:

1. Millie (Eagle 2000, a rare bird)

2. H535

3. 357

Unfortunately, there are no more 357 instruments coming out of Kzoo. The last three are in production. :-( You can't go wrong with the DC Mille or 535, and the latter may give you greater versatility. JMHO

I would take any of the above, provided I could get the right neck profile.. :icon_salut:

Lets face it guys and gals, HOC helps to spur Marv and the guys to keep on building them as long as they can still get up in the morning..not that I would wait forever but I still have hope I can some day get Marv to build a 357 for me..

what a synergy.

I think after the cool factor is considered, the Milli DC might be my choice.

I don't really have an application for a 357, as ÜBER-cool as they are.

535 are easily had.

But a Milli DC can approximate the sound of a 535 and a 150. The Milli DC might be the way to go.
