paul144 Posted August 30, 2008 Posted August 30, 2008 Just recorded these 2 clips of me & my H-535 What a freakin' guitar!
tulk1 Posted August 30, 2008 Posted August 30, 2008 Nice!!! Uh ... one thing. It's not nice to post clips and not tell us what the set up was!! :police: Other than that, nice guitar. Nice licks! +1 for the posts.
paul144 Posted August 30, 2008 Author Posted August 30, 2008 oh, its listed on the actual youtube page, so here it is... 2000 Heritage H-535, Seth Lover pickups, into '70 Princeton Reverb, Zendrive pedal Recorded with a Canon SD1000 digital camera.
High Flying Bird Posted August 30, 2008 Posted August 30, 2008 Very nice. A 535 feels good in one's hand, no?
fxdx99 Posted August 30, 2008 Posted August 30, 2008 Very nice, Paul!! Like the tone, like the playing. Thanks for posting. The PR sounds great w/the seth lovers/535.
jacques Posted August 30, 2008 Posted August 30, 2008 Great playing, Paul! And so soon after you got it. Just imagine what a fine friend this instrument will be for you in the years to come. Looks good on a little older fellar too, it has a classical (and classy) shine, this 535 of yours. Nice to have more and more examples of the Heritage on You Tube. Did you add a tag '335' too? This attracts a lot of hollow body viewers.
Dick Seacup Posted August 30, 2008 Posted August 30, 2008 +1 for posting clips of your own playing and such tasty licks. Great googly mooglies that was fun!
paul144 Posted August 30, 2008 Author Posted August 30, 2008 thanks everyone, it really has a nice feel to it, the neck is perfect, not too fat or thin. The difference in tones are incredible. The neck position is really woody. I did tag 335 on the youtube search. So far its only you & me Jacques! Nice playing too! Lets get more up there. Maybe not, then Heritages will go up in value and we won't be able to get crazy deals on 'em anymore! Sorry for the lack of enthusiasm...it was pretty late & I was tired
Gitfiddler Posted August 30, 2008 Posted August 30, 2008 Damn, that was good blues playing! I started crying and smiling about halfway through the first clip. :'( Very nice indeed. Hey, ya wanna join my band in the SF Bay Area? 8)
paul144 Posted August 30, 2008 Author Posted August 30, 2008 thanks, how 'bout I just fly out for gigs ?
golferwave Posted August 31, 2008 Posted August 31, 2008 Very nice playing and tone! Sounded very Gary Moore like to me. Thanks for sharing!
guitarjump Posted August 31, 2008 Posted August 31, 2008 Thanks for the clips, nice touch! Do you play professionally?
paul144 Posted August 31, 2008 Author Posted August 31, 2008 thanks everyone...yeah, I play once a month or so with this band http://www.myspace.com/foundingfathersmusic not professionally, I'd love to find some good players, but the music scene here on Long Island sucks. Better in Manhattan though. Too much of a hassle to get into the city for gigs.
Rude Dog Posted September 2, 2008 Posted September 2, 2008 Nice Touch and Tone! Thanks for sharing. I'm from LI (Blue Point) but am out in the Monterey, CA area for last 10 or so years.
