holyroller Posted July 19, 2013 Posted July 19, 2013 Hello, after getting my used h-150. I am totally convinced what I have heard is totally true. These guitars are as good if not better than gibson custom shops. They are way under valued in the used market. I have made up my mind to have one built for me. I could just save alot of money and stay buying used ones, but it would be great to have one made just for me. If I was to do this at Gibson it would probally be 8,000 ? Since the heritage surpasses Gibson its a no brainier. So,, has anyone done this? How much? How long? Is this a good idiea? I am thinking a 157 with super flame purple top with gold hardware.!
ezra1 Posted July 19, 2013 Posted July 19, 2013 I did it on a H-150 CM and it takes 3 to about 3 1/2 months. Well worth it in the end. I ordered a Custom build 535 this week.

SofaPlayer Posted July 19, 2013 Posted July 19, 2013 Go for it, holyroller! I am totally happy with my Custom ordered Millie. Absolutely worth the extra money.
tulk1 Posted July 19, 2013 Posted July 19, 2013 I'd say a few here have had the boys do one up. Maybe two. Maybe three! It's good to go over your specs with Ren or Marv at the shop. Early in the day, Mon - Thur. Then take those specs to your dealer, let them know you're an HOC member. If you decide to use Wolfe Guitars, then you don't need to do that. You can spec it out directly with them. Either way. And yeah, custom designed and built Heritage. Yummy!!

jazzblues Posted July 19, 2013 Posted July 19, 2013 It's really cool, except it will push a Humbucker further down from where they normally are... But isn't it a cut out from the standard neck length, rather than an add-on?
