Thundersteel Posted July 19, 2013 Posted July 19, 2013 I sold my last Heritage this week. It was the H150 w/P90s. It went to a good home. Hindsight being 20/20, I probably should have let go of my LP Custom instead, but now I can start planning...for a custom build!
big bob Posted July 19, 2013 Posted July 19, 2013 Ahha, well I'm kinda glad you sold. I'm loving the 555.
H Posted July 19, 2013 Posted July 19, 2013 Any ideas for the custom build yet ?How about a semi-hollow solidbody, double neck bass and mandolin?
Spectrum13 Posted July 20, 2013 Posted July 20, 2013 Eric I know some guys in Kzoo that can make it happen,
Thundersteel Posted July 20, 2013 Author Posted July 20, 2013 Any ideas for the custom build yet ? I'm thinking about a semi-hollow. 150LW? 535? Millie? 110? I haven't decided yet. Eric I know some guys in Kzoo that can make it happen, Oh, really? LOL That H150 was a real beauty. Thanks. It was a hard decision, but I've been wanting to do a custom build, and selling it was the only way I could justify it.
golferwave Posted July 20, 2013 Posted July 20, 2013 Can't wait to see the plans for the custom build!
DetroitBlues Posted July 20, 2013 Posted July 20, 2013 I've spent more time in the Heritage-less department than just about anyone in here, at least you have a plan in motion. I never do.
holyroller Posted July 20, 2013 Posted July 20, 2013 What does heritage call there h150 , but semi hollow. Gibson made one lespaul florentine .
DetroitBlues Posted July 20, 2013 Posted July 20, 2013 What does heritage call there h150 , but semi hollow. Gibson made one lespaul florentine . A Millie is close, plus there is a LW H150 that is sort of chambered... The Florentine cutaway can be ordered on just about any of their guitars. The H140's used to have that cutaway.

SouthpawGuy Posted July 20, 2013 Posted July 20, 2013 How about a semi-hollow solidbody, double neck bass and mandolin? You forgot the hillbilly crowbar
Redsand Posted July 20, 2013 Posted July 20, 2013 How about a semi-hollow solidbody, double neck bass and mandolin? +1

SofaPlayer Posted July 20, 2013 Posted July 20, 2013 You forgot the hillbilly crowbar LOL!! A mandolin with a baby Bigsby, now that's something I'd like to see!
SouthpawGuy Posted July 20, 2013 Posted July 20, 2013 Might I suggest a Heritage bass? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD That's right, they are making basses again aren't they ?
SouthpawGuy Posted July 20, 2013 Posted July 20, 2013 LOL!! A mandolin with a baby Bigsby, now that's something I'd like to see! Some HOC members, you know who you are , would put a Bigsby on a banjo
H Posted July 20, 2013 Posted July 20, 2013 Some HOC members, you know who you are , would put a Bigsby on a banjo Now that would make a HELL of a noise as it bounced off the accordion at the bottom of the dumpster
SouthpawGuy Posted July 20, 2013 Posted July 20, 2013 Now that would make a HELL of a noise as it bounced off the accordion at the bottom of the dumpster Reminds me of the old chestnut ... what do you call half a dozen tenor banjos at the bottom of the Irish Sea ? .... a good start
mark555 Posted July 21, 2013 Posted July 21, 2013 Reminds me of the old chestnut ... what do you call half a dozen tenor banjos at the bottom of the Irish Sea ? .... a good start OK, a guy leaves his banjo on the back seat of his jag, when some one smashes the back door window and leaves another one next to it.......
mark555 Posted July 21, 2013 Posted July 21, 2013 The problem over here is finding another Heritage if you sell the one you have.
