Thundersteel Posted July 22, 2013 Posted July 22, 2013 I'm getting ready to place a custom order, and am I wondering which dealers you recommend to do this through? I'm already aware of Wolfe Guitars, but there has to be others out there. So, what say you?
holyroller Posted July 22, 2013 Posted July 22, 2013 I am new hear but , that's the big name I hear. There is a dealer on eBay also. Dang I wish I was ready to order one. Whatcha getting ?
Gitfiddler Posted July 22, 2013 Posted July 22, 2013 Mojo's Music, Illinois gave me great pricing and service for my custom build H-525.

tulk1 Posted July 22, 2013 Posted July 22, 2013 Mojo's Music, Illinois gave me great pricing and service for my custom build H-525. I've purchased 3 Heritages from Bob at Mojos. He gets my vote, and my $$s every time. I'm getting ready to place a custom order, and am I wondering which dealers you recommend to do this through? I'm already aware of Wolfe Guitars, but there has to be others out there. So, what say you? Eric, just be sure to mention being an HoC member. And if you know your specs, worked out with the boys, you get a bigger discount since he has little to do but submit the order. And he has been a loyal H Dealer from SO many years. Gets my recommendation.
ezra1 Posted July 22, 2013 Posted July 22, 2013 I have used Wolfe for my first custom build.A H-150CM Jay has always been available for my calls and spent time with me for major concerns as well as just shooting the breeze on trivial stuff. I made my 2nd order for a custom build 535 just last week with him.
SofaPlayer Posted July 22, 2013 Posted July 22, 2013 My dealings with Jeff Hale in Hartland, WI have been 100% sound. He's a true gentleman. But from what I read I guess Jay Wolfe is #1.
holyroller Posted July 22, 2013 Posted July 22, 2013 Hey mojo is close to me!!!!!! I live in wisconsin close to chi town. Holy crap road trip?
SouthpawGuy Posted July 22, 2013 Posted July 22, 2013 Called the Jeff hale number disconnected. The number on the Heritage site for J Hale music must be wrong. Try the one on their own site, it's a different number Voice (262) 510-5140 600 Hartbrook Dr. Hartland, WI 53029 http://www.jhalemusic.com/
holyroller Posted July 22, 2013 Posted July 22, 2013 The number is disconnected, but he did answer my email and yes he can still order guitars.
golferwave Posted July 22, 2013 Posted July 22, 2013 If you'll be at PSP TS I would talk to the guys at the factory and get the specs down. Rich Butler plays with Ren in their band and is a Heritage dealer in Galesburg, MI. Just a short distance from the factory. The name of his store is "The String Collector" Leave the order at the factory and use Rich as the dealer. My .02
Thundersteel Posted July 22, 2013 Author Posted July 22, 2013 If you'll be at PSP TS I would talk to the guys at the factory and get the specs down Sadly, I won't be @ PSP this year. But I think I've got the dealer selected. Thanks everyone!
