SouthpawGuy Posted July 31, 2013 Posted July 31, 2013 I used to put mine on the floor, pointed at my knees. Thought that sounded good. Then, for some reason, we started using the drummers gig kit boxes. Really works well. I think it looks kinda cool, too. I think you can see them in this picture. Which is really a thinly disguised excuse to post another pic of the winery gig. ot question, never happens on the HOC, Is that an ASAT I see before me ?
tulk1 Posted July 31, 2013 Posted July 31, 2013 ot question, never happens on the HOC, Is that an ASAT I see before me ? Yep. Tracy plays an ASAT on several songs. Didn't get any pictures of her playing it this time.
tulk1 Posted July 31, 2013 Posted July 31, 2013 I have three...they. All sound better up and off the floor. I can see this is a Clarus II, amp. But is it for acoustic/ bass/ other? Looks very interesting. And what cab is that?

bolero Posted July 31, 2013 Posted July 31, 2013 I wasn't sure if I was going to hold onto mine, it came with an amp I bought & am picking up at PSP but FYI I just listed it in the FS section: http://www.heritageownersclub.com/forums/topic/23516-sound-enhancer-amp-standpsp-sale/

HANGAR18 Posted August 1, 2013 Posted August 1, 2013 At a jam session last weekend, I put my little Blues Jr. up on an amp stand - which I think *really* makes a difference. I think I had the volume only up to about 2 or 3, and I was playing with a drummer and bass player, and it was plenty loud. I think tilting it upwards at an angle does the trick. Anyone else here use an amp stand (or whatever the proper name of it is) and, if so, what brand name do you use? I'd like to buy my own. I used to have a heavy duty amp stand and it definitely made a difference in the perceived volume of the amp since the sound was pointed right at my head. I did not pay enough attention to notice how it affected the bottom end. I was looking for that stand the other day but I think I lost it over the past number of years because I never used it after I started using half stacks.
tsp17 Posted August 1, 2013 Posted August 1, 2013 i just ordered one of these: http://www.standback.net
SouthpawGuy Posted August 1, 2013 Posted August 1, 2013 found this on youtube ... Like the built in mic attachment
kidsmoke Posted August 1, 2013 Posted August 1, 2013 lousy pic...but here you see this "stand" holding my champ, in front of the Onstage 7000 holding my V22
kidsmoke Posted August 1, 2013 Posted August 1, 2013 would this hold my MESA? weight - yes. Only issue is if your Mesa is open back, with the support align with the cab or the opening. It won't hold my V22 for this reason, but my closed back Marshall...no prob. the Champ is open backed but lines up anyway. I'll bring it along next time.
