gpuma Posted August 4, 2013 Posted August 4, 2013 I still get the chance to have NHGD Thread, right? Here we go then. This came with compliments of Heritage Guitar Co. of Kalamazoo, MI. It is a 535 neck on a 555 body, so we call it a 545
SouthpawGuy Posted August 4, 2013 Posted August 4, 2013 Excellent ! Didn't realise the finish was trans black, love that wood grain.
brentrocks Posted August 4, 2013 Posted August 4, 2013 I was so surprised when Bill told me the news during the Factory tour....I didn't know about this guitar until about 2 pm on Friday
tsp17 Posted August 4, 2013 Posted August 4, 2013 Awesome. I love that trans black finish. One of my favorites.
GASguy Posted August 4, 2013 Posted August 4, 2013 A stunningly beautiful and unique guitar Gio. I love the cool visual vibe of a classic black semi-hollow body guitar; it always reminds me of Roy Orbison. The transparent black adds the beauty of curly maple figure and grain to the black "cool" factor. Congratulations!!!
bolero Posted August 4, 2013 Posted August 4, 2013 congrats again, that is a stunning array of wood!! very cool guitar

MartyGrass Posted August 4, 2013 Posted August 4, 2013 I love the rosewood. It looks part ebony, which fits into the 535/555 hybrid motif. That is a beautiful instrument.
gpuma Posted August 4, 2013 Author Posted August 4, 2013 I love the rosewood. It looks part ebony, which fits into the 535/555 hybrid motif. That is a beautiful instrument. It does. That little spot looks like Macassar Ebony, that's why I made a close up.

yoslate Posted August 5, 2013 Posted August 5, 2013 The good people at Parsons Street are beyond generous! Gio's response to having his name pulled was a classic. And that guitar is a stunner!!!
kidsmoke Posted August 5, 2013 Posted August 5, 2013 She's a stunner. And may I add your guitar photographing skills are developing as well! time to update the signature. I predict that the guitar give away...should we be blessed with it's continuance...with heretofore be video taped, all due to Gio's heart felt and vocal reaction to having his name called. A cry issued as only a proper European Futbol fan could..... congrats, buddy.
