Guest HRB853370 Posted August 4, 2013 Posted August 4, 2013 MM was playing it Saturday. Does anybody know the exact model and who it belongs to? I dig it!
SouthpawGuy Posted August 4, 2013 Posted August 4, 2013 Looks like the quilted 140 Brent got a few days back, but with different pickups http://www.heritageownersclub.com/forums/topic/23423-ngdh-140/

Not only that, it looks much more like VSB in person and not like the photo Brent posted. And KS, I don't keep track of who gets what on this forum like you do.
SouthpawGuy Posted August 4, 2013 Posted August 4, 2013 Slammer, you mean you don't know your 140s from your 150s ?
kidsmoke Posted August 4, 2013 Posted August 4, 2013 Will. I'm bustin' yer chops buddy. That guitar provided a lions share of the tones this weekend. Amazing machine.
SouthpawGuy Posted August 4, 2013 Posted August 4, 2013 Anyone know what pickups are in that guitar now ? Don't often see a 140, much less a quilted one, with double zebras.
brentrocks Posted August 4, 2013 Posted August 4, 2013 I took out the schallers and put in Duncan alnico II pros Slash pups in it
SouthpawGuy Posted August 4, 2013 Posted August 4, 2013 I took out the schallers and put in Duncan alnico II pros Slash pups in it Good to know, haven't you had those p'ups in a 150 ? How does the 140 compare ? Never played a 140, or those particular p'ups.

I have had those in 150s and the end result is pretty much the same....warm tone with a good responsive bridge, fat creamy neck tone
SouthpawGuy Posted August 4, 2013 Posted August 4, 2013 Sounds like they might be my type of p'ups, thanks.
