brentrocks Posted August 16, 2013 Posted August 16, 2013 I got a call from a fella tonight. He bought a Mark Slaughter H 150 at an estate sale the other day. He did a Google search and found my name and # in an old for sale ad.... He isn't a guitar player, he had no idea what it was worth, but for $25, he figured it was an ok deal?????? I said...."you really paid $25 for this?" YUP DAMMITTTTTTT!!!!!! What a bargin!!!! I offered him $1000 for it...he turned me down....lol

FredZepp Posted August 16, 2013 Posted August 16, 2013 Wow , that is just crazy. Slaughter has a nice assortment of 150's in his personal collection... custom paint and trans tuning systems. Impressive stuff.
Steiner Posted August 16, 2013 Posted August 16, 2013 Does the guitar have Slaughter's name on the headstock? Didn't you flip one of those already?

bolero Posted August 16, 2013 Posted August 16, 2013 wow, I assumed the days of finding good stuff at estate sales was over, as there is now a huge network of people who buy & flip on ebay etc that was a good deal!
DetroitBlues Posted August 16, 2013 Posted August 16, 2013 Heard of the band, but his music must not be memorable outside of the 80's hair metal band craze...
davesultra Posted August 16, 2013 Posted August 16, 2013 Heard of the band, but his music must not be memorable outside of the 80's hair metal band craze... I agree, I know when that trend was still hot, they were not one of my favorites.
FredZepp Posted August 16, 2013 Posted August 16, 2013 Here is one of his personal 150's... with TransPerformance Tuning system. Or here is one of the Slaughter model Heritage's ... BigBob had one of these ..
