barrymclark Posted August 18, 2013 Posted August 18, 2013 ... that's bugged the crap out me. $0.10 at the hardware store for me a 3/8" internal tooth lock washer for the 1/4" jack and it will no longer about fall into the guitar.

barrymclark Posted August 18, 2013 Author Posted August 18, 2013 But how did you get it in there ? outside. I put it between the washer and the nut.
SouthpawGuy Posted August 18, 2013 Posted August 18, 2013 outside. I put it between the washer and the nut. Got that, never thought of putting it outside.
barrymclark Posted August 18, 2013 Author Posted August 18, 2013 Got that, never thought of putting it outside.yup. And it juuuuust goes. The nut gets plenty of bite on the threads. Other than the jack constantly coming loose, I absolutely love my 575. That jack, though, annoyed the bejesus out of me. Glad I now have nothing to dislike about my 575. I even have another lock washer because I know the next one I get will also be missing this part. For whatever reason many guitar manufacturers leave this out. High priced ones too.
