H Posted August 18, 2013 Posted August 18, 2013 I'm thinking of changing my Eagle a little. Since I have little chance of finding an 'H' tailpiece, I'm considering the 'six finger' tailpiece. It seems from pics that this was offered as an option on the Johnny Smith, so it's 'sort of' Heritage. The other item I was considering is to change the tuner buttons on the Grovers to Imperials. Any opinions or other ideas?
SouthpawGuy Posted August 18, 2013 Posted August 18, 2013 How about an ebony or rosewood tailpiece ? With matching tuners buttons. Same for the volume knob on the pickup.

58super Posted August 18, 2013 Posted August 18, 2013 I always thought the type of tailpiece that is on there looks great. Grover Imperials or the metal keystones would look good.
H Posted August 18, 2013 Author Posted August 18, 2013 The "highlight" will be the player. My dad always said philately gets one nowhere
