Skydog~ Yowza, man!  That H535's color, flame and single piece top looks very much like my new H555!  I bet they're related!

Nice score.

They are laminated front and back.  I believe the Millenium DC are the only double cutaway semi-hollowbodies that Gibson makes that have solid front and backs.

Fixed that for you.  ;D

My Milly DC does indeed have solid front and back, and a big ol' block of maple between the two under the bridge.  Do they make other solid fronts/backs/  Dunno, I'd have to go look at the model pages.  Heh!

LOL!  Yep, the H535 & H555 are semi-hollow laminate bodied gits.  Perfect for LOUD playing since the laminated construction and center block deters feedback much better than solid wood topped instruments.

Even the back of your H535 resembles mine!  Heritage certainly sourced some great wood for these models.

Wow Git, that's a nice looking 555! I was seriously looking for one but it has to have chrome hardware. My sweat is very corrosive and gold is out of the question for me. Mine does have the bound headstock but not the f holes. Is yours amber or VSB?

Golden Amber is the color noted inside the F hole label.  Yours looks like the same tint.  When you get it, check the label for the specific color as well as the model info.

I really like the cream binding on yours as well.  You are going to love that guitar!
