Finally found a guitar to call mine

A few people were following a thread in the "bay watch" section of the forums about this guitar. I took a trip down to Philly and picked it up for a lot less than they were asking originally.

2008 limited edition 535.

I was informed by pegleg32 that this was part of a matched set of a 150 and a 535 that sold together. The store that I got this from informed me that they split up the set and sold the 150 a while ago. Bummer. I'm sure I would have figured out a way to buy both of them had the 150 still been there. I would have maybe sold a kidney or something.

Anyway, I couldn't be happier. I really wanted a guitar with more ornate inlays than the standard dots. The trap inlays and the bound headstock look so great on this. It plays wonderfully, sounds great and is pretty much exactly what I have been searching for in a guitar.

My girlfriend found me looking on craigslist and ebay the other night at guitars and said, "I thought now that you found this guitar your hunt was over." I informed her that now that I have half of a set of guitars, I have to be vigilant in case the person that owns the other half ever wants to sell. :)

Ryantic~ You did good for a first time Heritage purchase!!

Maybe the dealer who sold the matching 150 will help connect you to the buyer. But for now.......

Play it in good health.

From the above statement i can tell that you are going to fit in just fine here. Welcome to the co-enablers club, otherwise known as HOC. That 535 is very nice indeed. i think that it needs a mate until its true soul partner ditches the other guy. once the match shows up you will have three!
