Keith7940236 Posted August 28, 2013 Posted August 28, 2013 Apparently the tail piece is being installed on my custom Eagle today. Shouldn't be long until it ships! It's heading from Kalamazoo to Wolfe's for set up and then out to the Great Pacific Northwest where it shall reside! Can't wait!
Keith7940236 Posted August 28, 2013 Author Posted August 28, 2013 It is similar to one used on old Gibson 175's. It is one that I had purchased a while back, I sent it to the factory for installation. I'm planning on having an ebony tailpiece from Steven Holst installed at his shop in a few months. He custom carves what you want and uses a concealed metal bracket to ground the strings.
FredZepp Posted August 28, 2013 Posted August 28, 2013 That will be excellent... can't wait to see it. After some fine tuning at Wolfes , you should be ready to roll.
Steiner Posted August 28, 2013 Posted August 28, 2013 I bet it's so close you can taste it! Has Heritage sent any photos you care to share?
Keith7940236 Posted August 28, 2013 Author Posted August 28, 2013 No, I never asked for any. I'm hoping to go to PSP next year, perhaps I can have a picture taken with the whole gang!
Gitfiddler Posted August 28, 2013 Posted August 28, 2013 Waiting is the hardest part, but it will be worth it!! Can't wait to see your new Eagle.
