I've seen Youtube videos of these guys before. I like them. I wonder if Wolfgang is the same as the Wolfgang HOC member? Both are from Germany.

I noticed that he recently changed. He now has a signature guitar.

 

Still, he sounded great on his Millie, and the Millie is beautiful.

 

I had emailed him about a year ago asking about what strings he uses on his electric playing. I never heard back. Do you know? Thanks.

After I had met him at the airport some years ago I also tried to get in contact with him via email but did not succeed. He will play a concert here on October 3, maybe I'll go there. I am quite sure that he plays Thomastik Infeld strings, not sure about the gauge (maybe 13).

That would surprise me. I've heard him bend strings a few times, but TIs are low tension so it's possible.
