Guest HRB853370 Posted October 8, 2013 Posted October 8, 2013 This one looks really pretty in the sunlight!
Redsand Posted October 8, 2013 Posted October 8, 2013 I'm not usually a fan of gold hardware but anything else on this beauty would have been a mistake, the finish, grain pattern and hardware flow perfectly with one another. This guitar is a straight up CLASSIC!
skydog52 Posted October 8, 2013 Posted October 8, 2013 Rare 3 piece neck. Nice one Will! Who's been chewing on your table?

Vanschoyck Posted October 9, 2013 Posted October 9, 2013 Thanks, and a maple neck too!! Do you prefer the maple neck to mahogany?
Guest HRB853370 Posted October 9, 2013 Posted October 9, 2013 Do you prefer the maple neck to mahogany? Wouldn't know the difference. My 535 has a mahogany neck, but hell, I cannot tell.

LK155 Posted October 9, 2013 Posted October 9, 2013 Do you prefer the maple neck to mahogany? Not wanting to hijack Slammer's thread, but I can provide some input to this question. I have three guitars with maple necks and three with mahogany. With the drastic seasonal shifts in humidity we get here, the mahogany-neck guitars need truss rod adjustments two or three times per year. The maple-necked ones don't need it. They're much less prone to movement.
