schundog
My friends down at Monster Pawn have this cool looking Gibson Amp from the early 60s for sale. Anyone ever see anything like this?! http://www.ebay.com/itm/1960-62-Vintage-Gibson-GA-79RV-Stereo-Tube-Amplifier-w-Cover-/321211158644?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item4ac9ad5074

GASguy
Lark Street Music in Teaneck, NJ had one shaped like this one, but not in the excellent condition this one appears to be. I just checked it is no longer listed at Lark Street. They wanted more money than the EBay listing is asking for.
Horace
When I was a kid a friend's father had one and we weren't allowed to play it. We made fun of it calling it a hi-fi record player. Of course we were the fools.
skydog52
You better jump on that Brian, you can even play your accordion on it!
Kuz
That is one of the few Vintage Gibson amps that is considered HIGHLY collectible and near "grail" status. Wow, amazing condition.
fxdx99
That's very cool. And great condition. Didn't I just read an article on one of those in Vintage Guitar mag?
Gitfiddler
What a great piece of history! That amp would look great in your music basement. And the seller has an accordion for sale also! How irresistible is that??

Guest HRB853370
I think the decimal point might be accidentally too far to the right.... Some of you young'uns forget that many of the amps built in the 60's, notably Ampeg, had accordion input jacks. I owned a brand new 1966 Ampeg Gemini II 30 watt amp with a 15" Jenson in it, for my electric accordion days. I could play all the keyboard parts to Inagodadivida, Light my Fire, and 96 Tears. Those were my fave rock songs back then and I good get a good Farfisa sound out of my squeezbox.
