Keith7940236 Posted October 22, 2013 Posted October 22, 2013 It finally arrived, after seven long months of waiting. I'm very happy with the way that this turned out. She's an Eagle classic with a few modifications, 25" X 1.75" Johnny Smith Neck, two extra layers of binding on the front and a heritage #3 pickup. I'm having an ebony tailpiece made by Steve Holst to replace the Gibson style tailpiece. When it arrived at Jay's, he called to tell me that the boys (and girl) in Kalamazoo forgot to put in the label, so they were going to mail it to me. When it arrived, I was thrilled to see that it had been signed by all of the employees. The sound is very full, clean and well balanced. I think that it's going to sound amazing once it opens up.
RhoadsScholar Posted October 22, 2013 Posted October 22, 2013 What a beauty. Contrats. It is great that they spec out their guitars to your liking. Nice woodgrain on that for sure.
