tyleresco Posted October 31, 2013 Posted October 31, 2013 I want to make a pickguard but i don't know which one is the right measurement to fit, please let me know. Thanks
tyleresco Posted November 1, 2013 Author Posted November 1, 2013 i measured one h-150 and it has a 2 3/8 spacing, but this one is not the one that will be wearing the pickguard and the other is in my rehearsal place so i need more opinions about it
H Posted November 1, 2013 Posted November 1, 2013 Why don't you just measure the one you're building it for?
tyleresco Posted November 1, 2013 Author Posted November 1, 2013 Yes, i will, but i dont have it here and i found out curious that lk55 had another measurement in a h150 because its supposed the model and the specs should be the same... Dont you think? How they can make several different pickguards for h150s?
H Posted November 1, 2013 Posted November 1, 2013 Yes, it's curious and I guess it's annoying for you. That's perhaps a pitfall of a truly hand built guitar. What material are you using for the pickguard?
LK155 Posted November 1, 2013 Posted November 1, 2013 For clarification, this is the H150 I measured. It is exactly 2 5/16" between the plastic pickup surrounds, but these are not the original pickups. There has never been a pickguard on this one. Agree with H, you need to measure the guitar you're working on.
