schundog Posted November 1, 2013 Posted November 1, 2013 Like most of us, I enjoy checking out the random images from the gallery at the top of the page. Periodically, the pics of my old H-150 I bought from Shook494 pop up, and I kick myself for letting it go, even though I didn't play it nearly as often as I do my other Heritages. Anyone else get sellers remorse from images still on the forum? Here's the OSB sweetie that's now gone..... http://i288.photobucket.com/albums/ll186/shook494/OSB150.jpg
Guest HRB853370 Posted November 1, 2013 Posted November 1, 2013 Never even thought you would part with ANY of your fine Heritages! That was a beauty. Fortunately, the ones I sold made room for another I like even more. But the ones that got away are the ones that still HAUNT ME! And yes, I love the gallery too!

Usually I hold on to my first guitar, and if the new guitar is better, sell the old one! It's getting harder and harder to do as I've got some serious guitars these days:)
Guest HRB853370 Posted November 1, 2013 Posted November 1, 2013 This one "almost" got away 4 times. Until I came to my senses each time! See the shadow of the ghost to the right?

schundog Posted November 1, 2013 Author Posted November 1, 2013 This one "almost" got away 4 times. Until I came to my senses each time! See the shadow of the ghost to the right? Excellent. There is a VWB in The Bridgeton, MO, GC for sale on GC's used section of their website. $1000. 1 picture, none of back of headstock or body. Schaller pickups. I need. It like a hole in the head, but I keep thinking about it, haha

rockabilly69 Posted November 1, 2013 Posted November 1, 2013 I've been eyeing that myself...You know there are a lot of older Heritages out there that just need a little love to get a great performance guitar, so I say, be patient, and wait for a good light one! Buy it cheap and then throw the good stuff on it. Since I had to change all the stuff on my new one it was a ridiculous bad deal financially. I just wanted to see if a new one was any better than the older H150 I have was. The answer.. No, it wasn't! With equal parts (they have the same hardware and electronics), they both sound great! $2400 for the guitar $300 for the Duncan Custom Shop Peter Green pickups $250 for the Faber ABR bridge w inserts, Faber Lightweight tailpiece and studs $100 for the electronic upgrades (pots and caps)

Let it GO, Guy, let it GO! Haha. Just helping you save yourself from yourself....besides, you had just picked up that "playa" 150 from Rob, and dropped off the future-root beer one off with Pete Moreno.
