Spectrum13 Posted November 2, 2013 Posted November 2, 2013 Cool spider in the fingerboard. Can we get a photo of the mahogany you and Marv pick out?
Thundersteel Posted November 2, 2013 Posted November 2, 2013 hen hopefully they will start building it next week? They start custom builds only a week after the order is placed?
davesultra Posted November 2, 2013 Posted November 2, 2013 They start custom builds only a week after the order is placed? Wow, if that's true then I'm really going to figure out what I want soon!
H Posted November 2, 2013 Posted November 2, 2013 They start custom builds only a week after the order is placed? This is Brent, Mr Heritage, remember?
brentrocks Posted November 2, 2013 Author Posted November 2, 2013 Don't worry I'm not getting special treatment they do at the same for everybody. Lol The 137 is the most simple guitar that heritage makes there's no binding no carving it is the quickest build in the shop
skydog52 Posted November 2, 2013 Posted November 2, 2013 You can call it the Black Widow. Almost looks like an hour glass shape on body.
yoslate Posted November 2, 2013 Posted November 2, 2013 They start custom builds only a week after the order is placed? It's Brent.... They know he needs to get it into the "Heritage Goods For Sale" section.
Kuz Posted November 2, 2013 Posted November 2, 2013 It's Brent.... They know he needs to get it into the "Heritage Goods For Sale" section. Ha, ha, ha..... LOL Well, he can sell the "bass boat" SG and keep this REAL guitar!!!
holyroller Posted November 2, 2013 Posted November 2, 2013 Is this wood better than standard rosewood? I found a Braz board!!!

brentrocks Posted November 2, 2013 Author Posted November 2, 2013 Why not get another in a "Camo" finish to match the Explorer? oh no...that camo explorer will prob be gone by then
brentrocks Posted November 2, 2013 Author Posted November 2, 2013 Ha, ha, ha..... LOL Well, he can sell the "bass boat" SG and keep this REAL guitar!!! that is not too far from the truth, although that SG is a great playing guitar
brentrocks Posted November 2, 2013 Author Posted November 2, 2013 This is Brent, Mr Heritage, remember? YEAH...and don't you forget it....JK
brentrocks Posted November 2, 2013 Author Posted November 2, 2013 Cool spider in the fingerboard. Can we get a photo of the mahogany you and Marv pick out? I will try...we might do that next week
golferwave Posted November 2, 2013 Posted November 2, 2013 Extra nice Brazilian board Brent! Just remember not to take it out of the States when you go on tour.
Steiner Posted November 2, 2013 Posted November 2, 2013 137s are wonderful P-90 beasts. Splendid selection!

I've always wondered why they use dog ears on 137s. Adjusting pickup heights on P90s is much easier with the soapbars. recently learned you can run P90s really close to the strings. Good luck.
DetroitBlues Posted November 3, 2013 Posted November 3, 2013 Ah, one very important, highly over looked part of a 137 that is missing from Heritage.... Put a Pickguard on it!!!!!! \m/
Billgelder Posted November 3, 2013 Posted November 3, 2013 Ah, one very important, highly over looked part of a 137 that is missing from Heritage.... Put a Pickguard on it!!!!!! \m/ I would have to disagree with Josh on this one. I think they look better without a pickguard.
Kuz Posted November 3, 2013 Posted November 3, 2013 I would have to disagree with Josh on this one. I think they look better without a pickguard. + 100000000 keep her naked!!
golferwave Posted November 3, 2013 Posted November 3, 2013 + 100000000 keep her naked!! Nope, I think a big bob checkerboard pickguard would be the way to go. Rick Nielsen approved.
Gitfiddler Posted November 3, 2013 Posted November 3, 2013 The best looking 137 pickguards to me were the ones made by HOC'er, Cryoman.
